About FaezLabs

FaezLabs is a small software studio in Malaysia. We build and operate our own products rather than taking client work — currently 5 of them, 4 of which are live.

The products look unrelated from the outside, and to their users they are. What they share is underneath: one registered business, one payment provider, one set of operational tooling, and one team maintaining all of it. That is what makes a portfolio this size workable at our scale — the marginal cost of the next product is mostly the product itself, not the machinery around it.

Structure

Each product is operated under FaezLabs as a distinct business line. Where a product holds money on behalf of other people — DigitalPasar, which is the merchant of record for its sellers — that money is tracked in a double-entry ledger, and a seller’s balance is derived from those entries rather than stored as a number, so what we owe can always be recomputed from the events that created it.

It is not held in a separate account. Seller funds sit in the same payment provider balance as our own revenue until they are paid out, which makes a seller’s balance a debt we owe them rather than money held on trust for them. Anyone deciding whether to sell through DigitalPasar should know that before they start rather than after.
